I have long been an attendee and speaker at Digital Dealer, NADA, AutoCON (RIP), Driving Sales, Innovative Dealer Summit (Tim Jackson), 20 groups and more. But none of these were Women In Automotive.

Shannon started with the Pfaff group as a co-op student, did a stint in the aftermarket and the OEM world and then settled back into automotive retail, in sales, sales management and ultimately made it to GM. Shannon also makes a point to encourage more young women to attend the program and continue to advance their careers.

Together with her mom, the dealer principal (DP) of Ike Family Dealerships, she makes up one of the few female DP/GM duos in the country. Fifty percent of Volkswagen of Marion’s sales floor staff are women.
