Over three-quarters of car buyers (76%) will consider dealer finance even though only half are comfortable with the process, according to MOTORS The research polled the views of over 2,000 in-market car buyers. 15% are uncomfortable, with the highest levels of discomfort experienced by used car buyers, women and 18-24 year-olds.

The latest Forecourt Foresight research from Close Brothers Motor Finance reveals that motor dealers see price as one of the top three considerations for over three quarters (77%) of their customers. Women are also much more likely to be concerned about road tax costs than men (35% vs 21%), as well as fuel costs (19% vs 11%).
