The sounds produced by an EV are generally random and higher in frequency, making that acoustic environment difficult to manage using traditional active noise cancellation techniques.

The entire drivetrain has far fewer moving parts than a petrol engine. According to the U.S. Brake fluid should be flushed on schedule (even if pads last longer).

The Kia PV5, revealed at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, is the first of a future line-up of what Kia calls PBVs, which stands for Platform Beyond Vehicle.
