Fisker halts production, warns it may need bankruptcy protection

Fisker has paused production of its sole model, the Ocean crossover, as it seeks to conserve cash while hunting for new funding. The electric vehicle startup on Monday said the pause in production will last six weeks and will also help “align” inventory levels. The electric 2025 Isuzu D-Max ute has been locked in for an Australian launch – though exact timing for the battery-powered dual-cab has yet to be announced. Isuzu revealed the D-Max EV Concept ahead of its public debut at the Bangkok motor show in Thailand later this month, confirming Australia will be one of the first countries to receive the electric ute.
