The Toyota Corolla Cross is the best-selling vehicle in Colombia in September. The Colombian new vehicle market jumps 9.8% year-on-year in September to 17,144 units. However September 2023 was off -34.7% on the year prior which means this month is the 2nd lowest September result in the past 10 years. The year-to-date tally tilts into positive as a result at +0.7% to 135,463.

VW Tiguan sales are up 77.4% year-on-year. 6,521 new cars hit Slovak roads in September, a -4.9% year-on-year drop that tilts the year-to-date tally into negative territory at -0.3% to 67,589. Skoda (-0.5%) is stable and improves its share to 21.1% vs. 20.4% so far this year. Kia (+4%) is strong, repeating at #2 and now ranking #3 year-to-date. Porsche has confirmed the next 911 Turbo will start production in the second half of 2025. CFO Lutz Meschke said the Turbo will feature the hybrid system like the one already fitted to the facelifted 992.2 GTS, meaning it won’t be a PHEV. Mazda has launched the EZ-6 in China, which is the spiritual successor to the Mazda6. The model features electric and range-extended powertrains producing up to 255 hp. The EZ-6 comes nicely equipped and the fully electric variant has a range in excess of 373 miles. When Mazda introduced the EZ-6 at the Beijing Auto Show, they kept things frustratingly vague.
