Michigan Suspends Hyundai Dealership’s License “For Imminent Harm To Public” But Reinstates It

The state of Michigan temporarily suspended LaFontaine Hyundai’s dealer license in Livonia. The dealership allegedly leased used cars as new, violating state regulations on vehicle sales. LaFontaine Auto Group blamed rogue employees before getting its dealer license reinstated. It’s not uncommon to hear about shady dealership practices —after all, the auto industry has its share of unsavory characters—but sometimes, just sometimes, they do get caught.
