BMW's 4-Series range has undergone a mid-cycle update for the 2025 model year, and as part of the update the high-performance M4 coupe has spawned a CS grade. Revealed late on Tuesday, the new 2025 M4 CS is set to sail into showrooms later this year with a starting price of $124,675, including a $1,175 destination charge. The car makes its formal.

Lada Vesta The Russian new car market is up 81.2% year-on-year in April to 137,047 units, however it remains down -9.8% on pre-sanctions April 2021. The year-to-date tally is now up 89.4% to 467,739 but down -9.3% on the same period in 2021. Market leader Lada trails the market at +67.2% but holds 30.8% share which is better than its YTD level of 28.5%.

The Volvo EX30 lands on the Finnish podium for the first time. It’s a fifth straight month of year-on-year drops for new car sales in Finland at a harsh -16.5% year-on-year to 6,007 units. The year-to-date tally is off -13.4% to 24,161. Toyota (-5.2%) resists better than the market and easily stays #1 in the brands charts with 19.7% share. Volvo (+2.5%) signs the only positive result in the Top 6 whereas the four following brands all suffer double-digit drops.

Audi will launch its long-awaited A6 E-Tron this summer, the automaker announced last week while presenting its financial results for the previous quarter. The A6 E-Tron is the second model from Audi to ride on Volkswagen Group's PPE (Premium Platform Electric) dedicated EV platform which debuted earlier this year in the Audi Q6 E-Tron and Porsche.

The Luxgen n7 is the best-selling BEV in Taiwan in April. 37,038 new light vehicles hit Taiwanese roads in April, a -3.1% year-on-year drop. The year-to-date tally tilts into negative as a result at -0.3% to 149,439. Toyota (-4.7%) holds a mammoth 26% share, in line with its YTD level.
