The 2025 Lexus LS sees yet another price increase for the new model year, but no significant updates. Pricing starts at $81,685 for the LS 500 version, including the $1,350 destination fee. That's a $1,000 increase over the 2024 model year, which in turn saw prices increase by $3,100 over the 2023 model year, to $80,685. LS 500 models are powered.

The Perodua Axia is the best-selling vehicle in Malaysia in September. Malaysia has now well and truly returned to BSCB with September 2024 data now available and October coming up soon. 61,075 new light vehicles found a buyer in the country in September. Local brand leader Perodua has a tough month, going from 46.3% share in August to 38.8% now. In contrast Proton grows from 16.5% to 17.7%.

A group of 18 plaintiffs sued BMW over emissions defeat devices in diesel-equipped models. BMW has denied allegations select models used a Bosch device to cheat emissions testing.
