BMW's Concept Skytop unveiled in May during the 2024 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este in Italy is headed for production, the automaker said on Friday. Just 50 examples are planned, and all build slots are already claimed. A price tag wasn't announced. The Skytop is likely based on the platform of the 8-Series Convertible, and BMW has confirmed it.

Toyota Yaris sales are up 85.3% in September. 116,543 new light vehicles hit Mexican roads in September, a -1.3% year-on-year dip. The year-to-date volume is now up 10.4% to 1,077,637. This is the largest 9-month tally since 2017. Nissan (-7%) sees its market share thaw to 16.1% while Chevrolet (-1%) is at 13.1%, in line with its YTD level of 13.2%.
