Despite lackluster EV sales, plug-in hybrids jumped 524%. Mercedes has walked back their electric vehicle ambitions and decided to invest more into internal combustion engines. Competition for used hybrids and EVs listed on Dealer Auction rose in June, reflecting appetite among dealers for these Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFVs) despite a squeeze in volumes. According to the new EV Performance Review (EVPR), 29% fewer EVs and 11% fewer hybrids were listed. However, the number of bids per vehicle rose 13%.
