Toyota is joining the Ionna charging consortium, which is backed by BMW, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes, and Stellantis. The move will give Toyota and Lexus owners access to Ionna charging stations, which are slated to open later this year. Ionna plans to have at least 30,000 charging ports in North America by 2030. Competition for used hybrids and EVs listed on Dealer Auction rose in June, reflecting appetite among dealers for these Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFVs) despite a squeeze in volumes. According to the new EV Performance Review (EVPR), 29% fewer EVs and 11% fewer hybrids were listed. However, the number of bids per vehicle rose 13%.
