The recall affects Ford F-150 Lightning models built from November 5, 2023, to February 13, 2024. Ford reports that some electric trucks may have an improperly torqued nut on the control arm joint. Owners will be notified of the recall starting February 3 and directed to contact a dealer. If you own a 2023 or 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning , this one’s for you.

Stellantis has paused production at its sprawling Mirafiori plant in Turin, Italy, due to slowing demand for the vehicles built there. The vehicles include the Fiat 500e electric hatch as well as the Maserati GranTurismo coupe and convertible, both gas and electric versions. Citing comments made by Stellantis to union officials, Reuters reported.

Roughly half of the fine will go into California’s Air Pollution Control Fund. Stellantis has previously paid hundreds of millions of dollars in fines over defeat devices. Impacted models include the Ram ProMaster, 1500, 2500, and 3500 pickup trucks. Stellantis will cough up $4.2 million to the California Air Resources Board (CARB) as several of its vehicles found to be producing emissions beyond the allowable limits.

Subaru has announced that the new Forester Hybrid will launch by mid-2025. The hybrid setup is expected to combine a 2.5-liter boxer with two electric motors. The electrified SUV will retain Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. Subaru is gearing up for the launch of the all-important hybrid variant of the new generation Forester in the US, as the company has quietly confirmed on its consumer website that the model will go on sale by mid-2025.
