The first modification I’d do, if this was my own car, would be to install a short-shift kit to reduce the length of travel for the gear stick. However, there were more than a few times when I’d slide into the cabin and bump my head on the way in. Getting going is initially quite jarring as the clutch pedal feels snappy and heavy.
